In the third quarter of 2025, the dining and restaurant app landscape in Egypt displayed dynamic trends, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five apps on a unified platform.

KFC Egypt - Order Food Online saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at 13.7K in early July and peaking at 18.1K in early August, before declining to 5.8K by the end of September. Meanwhile, weekly active users began at 342K, reaching a high of 455K mid-quarter, and closing at 378K.

McDonald's experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 12.1K and reaching a peak of 21.7K towards the end of September. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 656K mid-September but dropping to 440K by the end of the quarter.

BAZOOKA showed a consistent increase in downloads, starting at 4.7K and rising to 18K by early September, before dipping to 9.8K at quarter’s end. Active users rose steadily from 53K to over 108K in late August, settling at 99K.

Cilantro had a modest download range, starting at 3.7K and peaking at 4.7K in late September. Active users increased from 20K to 23K over the quarter.

Pizza Hut Egypt - Order Pizza maintained a stable download pattern, beginning at 4.7K, dipping mid-quarter, and ending at 2.7K. Active users showed a gradual decline from 29K to 19K.
